Calm down Omega

Its really lovely outside today.

The photographers really picked a nice location for the shoot, really nice weather plus a killer scenery.

The makeup artist and stylists have all been Angels. Really.

So why am I feeling so glum?

Ah maybe it has something to do with my recent conversation with his mother, the queen of Moonfalls.

*Flashback*

After three more rings, umi decided to give in and check the Damn phone!

He winced when he noticed the 12 missed calls on the notification bar.

”Hello mother ” he said broadly.

”Wow, finally he answers the phone! A little longer and I would have thought you died in that tiny apartment of yours ”

Umi rolled his eyes because really, he lives in a pent house for crying out loud! Its a nice building, in a nice area, with a nice view!

”My apologies mother, I was in a very relaxing bath ” umi said praying she gets to the point and just leave the conversation.

”Anyways. Ill get straight to the point ” she sounded far too excited.

Something is definitely off.

”Do continue mother ” umi said with practiced fake interest.

”Oooh Im so excited! ” She squealed? Which is Very unusual.

”Your father and I decided its time to get you married! Oh we already got quite alot of proposals. Im not surprised, you are indeed a rare type of omega in the end ”

His mother sounded so happy but he knew really its more her being excited over showing off through his wedding and probably whoever they had picked must be a really good match.

”Mother, I have said this before. Im way too busy to get married now! And Im still so young. My clothing line just started gaining a name and- ”

”I believe we had a deal, didn we dear son? ” Suddenly all the fake excited gone and replaced with annoyance.

”Anyways be home before Tuesday. We are entertaining your possibly future family to lunch on Tuesday ” she said with finality, like he had no choice.

”Umi, I don recall giving you an option. Be home by Sunday night latest. ” There she goes cutting him off again.

With that she ended the call. No I love yous or goodbyes or even see yous.

Umi sighed for the umpteenth time.

Be home by Sunday evening latest she said.

Which means he has to leave now to catch his flight.

He didn bother packing much, he had everything he needs at the palace.

”Okay everyone. Thanks for making this possible for me and probably clearing schedules and speeding up this shoot just for me! ” Umi grinned, bowing slightly.

After gathering up his stuffs he called an airport uber and was relieved when he caught up with his flight.

Umi arrived at the mansion at a fairly reasonable time.

It wasn too late which means no scolding from his parents, The king and queen.

He came back for a reason.

Umi raised his eyes to the elegant features of his omega brother.

He hasn seen taki in so many months so it was so shocking to see him look comfortable and smiling beautifully.

After the much needed shower, umi had requested the maid get him something light to eat while mentally preparing himself for his parents.

Umi walked to the throne room in silence.

He thought about everything to say to his parents and how to convince them.

His trusted laptop with his presentation.

Luckily the door was already slightly open so umi could peek in to read their moods abit.

His mother, the queen was sitting by her kings right hand while they discussed something looking at what seemed like an envelope?

”Its bad manners to eavesdrop and stare umi. You should learn to behave before marriage ” the king said without looking at his son.

Umi groaned, walking In.

”Mother, father ” he bowed in greeting.

”Come take a look at this umi ” his mother called sweetly. Fake.

Umi is honestly starting to get worried for her, Anymore pretend and she might forget who she is.

Heading to his parents, he noticed they were looking at pictures? From a brown envelope.

”This is Im hyunseong, hopefully he would be husband. If you act accordingly to the rules your mother gave you ” his father, the king said.

Umi blinked.

Did he hear correctly? That sounded like a koercetrilian name.

”Koercetrian? ” He asked his father shocked.

”Yes! Only the best for the best ” his mother said proudly.

did she just ca him the best? what Is up with this lady lately.

umi prepped internally

I managed to keep my voice steady.

”I would like to oppose to this alliance and also give my reasons- ” he was cut off by a shout from his mother.

”let him speak yuri ” the king said calmly.

”As you know my business just started gaining name, I have already designed and made clothes for so many celebrities, so many royalties and noblemen. I can abandon this now ” he said in one breath.

”Thats not all. I feel I am still young and should be allowed to live my life as a young adult first before thinking of being tied down. Im just twenty-one and there is still time for relationships and marriage ” he tried to look at his parents reactions carefully.

”if you you would just listen to my presentation… ” umi said pulling up his laptop.

His mother definitely was fuming.

His father on the other hand had a calm look.

Umi knows that look is just a facade.

”Is that all? ” His father asked calmly.

”Uh… I… no. Uhm I also would like to move out of Moonfalls for a few years… the reason…uhm… i got an invitation to intern under Jaquin designs and it is a very huge opportunity! Many wants it but only few can get it! ” at this point umi knows he is rambling.

”You want to call off this wedding for that? You are a prince! There is no opportunity above you! Can say Im surprised you could behave this way ” Queen yuri yelled in disappointment.

”Calm down yuri. He made his decision. Let us grant his wishes ” the king said looking at his son.

Before the queen could protest, the king started speaking again.

”Since umi is not ready for this alliance, we will offer taki instead. Let us make preparations yuri ” he said getting up from the throne.

”What do you mean offer taki? ” Umi yelled.

Yuri had a smirk on her pretty face when she realised what her husband was doing.

”Just because you decided to be selfish doesn mean we would break the alliance. Besides, taki is younger and probably even more appealing to alphas ” yuri proceded to follow her husband.

Disgust is all umi could feel.

Which means leaving school and his sisters. ” The King looked pointedly at umi while Queen yuri nodded in agreement.

Umi, now close to tears looked up at his father.

” let us make another deal. If I get married to the

Koercetrian prince you would not force marriage on my siblings. You would let them live their lives hoe they want and fall inlove with who they want ”

”If whatever decision they make about their lives do not bring shame to the nation then we would not interfere. You have our word ” the king spoke.

Monday morning was always quite busy in the royal household but today was even worst.

The Koercetrian royal family would be arriving in the late afternoon or early evening and umi was totally unprepared.

He had come here thinking he could convince his parents but they had used taki as a weapon against him.

cruel, but smart.

Monday also meant umi would have to go shopping for a few things his mother had specifically asked him to wear to lunch tomorrow but umi has no interest in impressing the Koercetrian prince.

So he cancels shopping.

he made the decision to go to that stupid lunch wearing his own brand.

He also had decided to dye his already white hair pink.

His mother had made a fuss when she had seen his white hair in one of their few video calls so he wonders what her reaction would be when he walks in with bubblegum pink hair.

she had already decided he should go back black before the meeting tomorrow but umi isn one to listen anyways.

Monday also came with the twins and taki not being home(they went to a private school owned by the kuri royal family) so umi had been bored out of his mind being alone.

He worked on his newest projects and also video chat a few clients to pass time.

Checked social media, ate etc.

His mother had called for him later on to give him a brief on how to behave tomorrow when meeting the prince and his family which ofcourse he barely paid attention to.

After meeting his mother he decided to take a drive through downtown Moonfalls.

Its been awhile and honestly he doesn miss this place.

He barely had friends growing up and was homeschooled because of how special he is.

He was sheltered for a long time and was actually surprised when his parents let him leave home to pursue his dream of being a designer.

He should have known he couldn escape them.

They made a deal with him and he should have known his parents wouldn forget so easily.

Driving through the city took more time than umi expected seeing as it was already dark when he returned.

He decided to go through the kitchen( which ofcourse was still busy preparing delicacies for tomorrow like it was some feast and not a simple lunch out in the palace)

Sneaking a few freshly baked muffins and a pint of icecream he was certain belongs to taki he bid the staff goodnight and made his way up to his room.

Maybe it was the fact that he had his arms full and still try to reply emails on his phone or maybe the other person was equally not looking but he had bumped into someone else and now his small basket of muffins and icecream went straight to the ground.

Thank goodness for the tight containers these icecream makers use these days for his icecream was saved.

His muffins on the other hand had gone flying out of the confines of its basket.

”Noooooooo my muffins! ” Umi whisper yelled dramatically.

He started frantically searching for his beloved muffins, picking them up and dusting them off one by one.

Mr stranger stood there watching with an amused expression.

”If you
e not going to help me then leave ” umi said frowning at his muffins.

”Are you really going to still eat that?? ” Stranger man asked

Okay umi was not prepared to be hit with that deep voice.

If umi was an emoji, he would be the drooling emoji right now.

slut umi must remain hidden for he will be meeting his betrothed tomorrow!

”Yes, haven you heard of the five minutes rule? ” Umi replied finally looking up and taking a look at the stranger with such delicious voice and oh no the voice does suit the face.

Stood before him is one of the most handsome men umi has ever seen.

He had sparky dark brown eyes, shiny black hair and such full pink juicy lips umi just wants to sink his teeth into.

Okay umi calm down.

”Isn it the five seconds rule? ”Handsome stranger laughed, finally getting down to help umi pick up his icecream.

Umi put his phone in his pocket, emails be damned for now.

He held his muffin basked in one hand while he took his icecream from handsome stranger in his other hand.

”Thank you. You seem to have an accent, are you perhaps with the Koercetrian princes family? ” Umi asked because he had noticed the accent in his words earlier.

”Ah yes, Im with them. Im guessing you
e part of the izumaki family? ” The handsome Koercetrian stranger asked, eyebrows raised sexily.

”Yes, you could say that ” umi smiled cutely.

handsome stranger hummed.. sexily??.

the hell? who does that?

”Okay then. Enjoy your night ” handsome stranger replied with a smile of his own bowing slightly and walking away.

Now clad in his pyjamas after eating a whole pint of icecream and four muffins(maybe my heat is coming? why am I eating so much)

He allowed his mind to wander back to the handsome man from earlier.

He wishes to see the man again but he knows it will be pointless because his fate has already been decided.

maybe if they had met earlier(definitely not in the palace) he could have been a regular hookup.

That night umi didn cry.

He slept with a smile and dreamt of a different life where he could be who he wants to be.

one thing was for certain, umi prepared himself to live a life with a stranger in the Koercetrian.

He would definitely not be used as a baby maker.

umi would hold on as long as he can and endure just enough to get taki out of the palace.

then divorce his Koercetrian husband.
