Lone Road

My body was covered in a cold sweat as I went to have a shower. Those dreams were messing with me now. At first, it was the same scenario as the other dreams. I was standing there in the middle of a lone road surrounded by thick woods, somewhere the wolves were howling. This time too the black wolf appeared in front of me but it did not disappear like that on previous nights. There was something in its eyes that made me scared this time. It lunged toward me where I was frozen in place from fear and tackled me to the ground. The pain in my neck was all it took for me to wake up. The wolf had bitten right into my collarbone. There was still a phantom pain in my color bone.

The warm water felt like heaven.

”What the hell? ” There was an angry red bruise exactly where the wolf had bitten me. It was a teeth mark of an animal too. I turned off the shower and dressed up. I think I need to inform someone about these weird dreams.

My phone rang. It was Isha.

”Its Friday, you are going to be late for college. ” She informed me I answered the call.

”Shit, I forgot. Be ready in 5 and wait downstairs ” I said to her and rushed to get ready for college. I did not get time to say anything to anyone. It was already late. The first period has already ended by the time we reached. We rushed to get to the second class. The people in the corridor gave us a weird look.

By halfway through the class, Isha tugged on my sleeve to get my attention. The teacher also had been giving me some weird looks. We were on the last bench so talking would be fine. I raised an eyebrow to ask her what.

”Well bro, you have a bite mark on your collarbone, and its bruised pretty badly. It looks like a dog bite but its bigger than that. ” She said pointing where the bruise was this morning.

”How do you know about a dog bite? ”

”I was bitten just before I came here ” she answered my question.

”Mr. Marshal, the principal wants to meet you in his office ” The teacher called me before I could tell her about my nightmares. What did the principal want now?

I knocked on his door as I reached.

”Come in ” He answered. There was someone with this back to me as he faced the principal.

”You called sir, ” I asked him.

”This gentleman said that he had some personal business with you so I called you over. I am afraid I could not deny him as he seems to know you from your business. ” He knew from the business.

The person mentioned turned to face me. He was a person who had looks that someone could kill for. Black hair with equally black eyes.

The white shirt and black pants made him look regal. It also complemented his emotionless face.

”Well, its nice to finally meet you Mr. marshal. I believe you would like this conversation to take place in private. ” His voice. His voice sounded familiar as if it has been ringing in my ears all day.

”Please lead the way, ” I said to him. I did not even know this guy. His whole personality screamed danger but somehow, I was feeling calm almost like there was nothing to worry about. Whatever reason it was I was not reckless. I quickly send a message to Arseny to come and bring some People with him. Whoever this person was, if he had any other intention than talking then he would be dead even before you could spell death.

”I don know where we are going to have this private talk but I appreciate it if its inside the college premises as there are not many students as the classes are going on and I don want to miss any other classes, ” I said as we reached the parking lot.

”We can talk here or at your hotel too. By the way, Is Arseny fine? ” He knew about Arseny. Who the hell was this person?

”How do.. ” There was a screech of tires and a car stopped us. I had not noticed the car enter the parking lot. Then from the car exited Arseny. He saw me and the person next to me. He hastes over and bowed to him. ”Alpha ” He greeted the person standing next to me. Who the hell was he that even Arseny respected him this much?

”Can you two tell me what is going on and who the hell are you? ”
