I had to do that; if I had not, the excess energy would have strained the formations of the Armor, and that would have turned very bad for me.

Like sealing formation, if one of the seals had the problem and stopped working for a moment, it would have been disastrous for me. The cosmic energy entered inside me and finished me off.

The battle would have ended before it even started, so releasing the excess energy into my body was the best option for me.

Still, my problems are far from over; it could be said they have just begun. The Beast is coming at me with blurring speed, coming closer and close to me with each step; with speed, it is coming at me, it wouldn ’t take a second for it to reach me.

It let out another roar and swiped its extremely sharp claw at me with very fast speed, and the worst thing is with speed it is coming, I could not dodge; I have to defend against it head-on.

The runes inside me became even brighter as I used all the converted energy I got from it on the counter.

When my sword was just inches away from its claws, a cruel smile flashed across its eyes, and it increased the speed of its claw, and it hit my sword with even more power than I had predicted.

Crack Crack Crack Puh Puh…

My sword clashed against its claw, and the next moment, I shot back with even greater force with blood in my mouth and more broken bones.

This f.u.c.k.i.n.g monster performed the mischief at the last moment; just thinking about that, a bloody smile couldn ’t help but appear. Since I had fought a life and death battle against the opponent, it had been a while, who could use the brain in a fight, not just raw power.

This Beast may be smart, but I am not a dumb shit either; after tasting its power and knowing about its intelligence, I had put all aspects into consideration. Though its using more power was unexpected, but I was prepared for it.

I had all the formations ready for the huge force, and when it came, I diverted it across all the right places but still, I got even more injured than before due to it using more strength.

Attack after attack came; the bastard was too fast. Not a single time, I was able to dodge its attack, and the worst thing is, it is using more power in every attack.

It is highly intelligent; instead of using its full power, it is attacking me slowly, with each time its attack getting more powerful than before; this way, I could reveal all my trump cards, and when it became sure I have used all my trump cards, it will attack me with all its power.

It is a great strategy; I know it because I applied it in my fights hundreds of times.
