Yang Mo remembered that day in university.

He finished all the spicy wontons that Han Shi Yu bought him, which directly caused him tonsillitis.
He had to get up in the middle of the night, looking for anti-inflammatory medicine.

Till now he still didn’t understand why he did that at that time.

Han Shi Yu was sitting across him now.

The grill’s heat caused the air to ripple as a strong fragrance slowly drifted out of it.

Yang Mo picked up a piece of raw meat, grilled it on his own and dipped it in the dipping sauce.

But Han Shi Yu stopped him with his chopsticks.

Yang Mo: “What?”

Han Shi Yu was particularly firm and stubborn in this aspect, “Tsk, no dipping in so much spicy sauce.”

Yang Mo: “It’s not like eating this little will…”

Han Shi Yu refused to listen.
He took that meat slice and swished it in the water as the small, white porcelain bowl became red and oily from the sauce.
Then he handed it back to Yang Mo, “It’s okay now.”

Yang Mo: “……”

The two of them had agreed before that on the matter of restricting him from eating spicy food, Yang Mo wasn’t allowed to have any complaints.

But no one would had expected Han Shi Yu to have actually written that agreement down in their wedding vows.

He couldn’t forget that on that day, as the two of them wore white suits and stood on the red carpet.

The priest said solemnly in somewhat broken Chinese—

“Mr.
Yang Mo, do you wish to be united with Mr.
Han Shi Yu? To love him, be faithful to him, no matter poor, sick or disabled…”

The priest’s blue eyes widened in confusion.

“…Whether or not he lets you eat spicy…”

Yang Mo: “???”

“…Until death do you part.” The priest said, “Do you?”

He glanced at the smiling Han Shi Yu.

The young guests at their tables along with their parents, couldn’t help but smile.

This man was really good at taking advantage of every opportunity Yang Mo had to say ‘I do’.

He held back his breath and thought he would definitely find a chance to cut his damn tonsils off.

Looking up at Han Shi Yu who was grilling slices of meat in front of him while dressed entirely in black and wrapped up so tightly, Yang Mo suspected he would be covered with heat rashes soon.

Yang Mo sighed and took off his own jacket, “Aren’t you hot?”

Han Shi Yu: “I am.”

Yang Mo: “Take off your jacket then.”

Han Shi Yu clicked his tongue, “What if someone recognized me?”

“You’re attracting more attention like this, just like an idiot.” Yang Mo stuffed his jacket to the side, gave Han Shi Yu a contemptuous look and said, “There aren’t that many people here.
No one’s looking at you.”

Han Shi Yu thought about it and agreed with him.
He wasn’t an artist in the entertainment industry who earned a living with his face so there usually wouldn’t be any paparazzi stalking them anyways.
After taking another look at his surroundings, he put his guard down and took off his hat and sunglasses.
He sighed, “I was so suffocated.”

With one of his jacket’s sleeve off, Han Shi Yu was stunned all of a sudden.
Then, he crouched down a little and hurriedly put on his jacket again.

Yang Mo jumped, seeing that gesture of his and frowned, “What are you doing?”

Han Shi Yu wished he could squeeze out his voice as low as possible and said, “Behind you, on the right!”

Yang Mo turned around suspiciously, then his eyes widened.

“I heard this place has a pretty good reputation.” Yang Han walked in, clutching the strap of her satchel bag as she said that.

Liu Zuo Ye took off her cap and used it to fan herself as her hair moved gently after being blown.
She said, “Are you hungry?”

Yang Han: “A little…”

She stole a glance at Liu Zuo Ye.
From the beginning, Liu Zuo Ye had been sticking to her side without saying much.
Only replying with a few words whenever Yang Han proposed a few places to head to, just like an emotionless Gaudet map.

She knew that Liu Zuo Ye must have had something to say to her, otherwise she wouldn’t have asked her out for no reason.

The two of them wandered around without a goal in mind, not knowing how far they had strayed from their original destination.
Yang Han finally found a buffet barbeque restaurant after a while and wanted to sit down for a break as well as creating an opportunity for Liu Zuo Ye to finish what she wanted to say.
Otherwise, she would have felt uncomfortable herself too

“Then…Is this shop fine?” Yang Han asked.

Liu Zuo Ye took a very subtle glance at the price list and frowned slightly.

She turned her head to see the beads of sweat on Yang Han’s forehead, and answered, “Sure.”

The two of them went inside to find a seat.
Suddenly, when they passed by a table, Liu Zuo Ye’s gaze lingered on something strangely.

After Yang Han found a seat for them, Liu Zuo Ye glanced at the table just now from afar.

There were two people there, looking like two adult men – one in black with a hat and a pair of sunglasses, his jacket pulled all the way up while he slowly grabbed some meat.

The one opposite him wore a white camouflage jacket, with a buttoned hoodie cap and a pair of sunglasses too.
He had one hand over his mouth and another holding up his chopsticks, unsure of where to start eating from.

Liu Zuo Ye frowned, glancing around and did not find a camera anywhere.
She thought to herself, that those two must either be artists engaged in punk style performances, or were patients queueing up for the hospital beside the shop1.

Liu Zuo Ye muttered, “Aren’t the two of them hot?”

Yang Han followed Liu Zuo Ye’s gaze and saw that two strangers as well, but all of a sudden, they felt a little familiar to her.

Yang Han: “……”

She immediately turned her head around, pretending she did not see anything yet gave them an accurate description, “M-Must be patients…from the hospital next to the shop.”

Liu Zuo Ye: “Oh.”

Yang Mo began to think.

Why were they hiding?

First of all, they weren’t following them.
Second, the two of them didn’t have a secret relationship where they had to hide.

Han Shi Yu shook his head dramatically, “I don’t know either.
It’s just…subconsciously.”

Yang Mo couldn’t help but kick him from underneath the table.

“…But why are you acting like this too?” Han Shi Yu wondered.
He stared at Yang Mo through his sunglasses and asked, “Isn’t this the first time you have followed Xiao Yang?”

Yang Mo: “……”

This damned Han Shi Yu behaviour.
