As Mars contemplates his future and what he should do his thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud explosion, it seems something attacked his dome.

. ”Mmm who could that be. ”Mars said opening his eyes with a calm and cold gaze. ”Someone sure is bold, guess this opportunity came at the perfect time, I should probably test out this new and improved body of mine ”.

Mars decide to break the dome, his eyes flashed brightly as a dark red hue covered his whole body, he cocked back his fist and gathered the energy of the Four Direction off spring Quik.

Mars gathered such great amounts of power into his fist that the darkness of the dome lit up like it was flashing with fireworks, his eyes glowed golden for split second as he punched towards the dome.

*Bam*!!!

As his punch connected with the dome it vibrated slightly then a slight crack appeared that spread across it like spiderweb till it eventually overloaded.

*Crack*!

*Shatter*!!!

As the shatter pieces fell to the ground and dissipated Mars finally saw what was on the other side and it was a welcomed surprise.

. ”Well I guess little fate is finally back on my side. ”Mar said with a gratified expression. ”A beast come right to my door steps and just so happen to be equal to my current cultivation stage, a grade 2 beast, madness python, distance relative of a little dragon huh, a perfect foe to test my new cultivation base ”.

As Mars said that he suddenly disappeared from his spot and appeared behind the pythons head delivering a world shattering whip likekick.

*Wooshh*!!!

Mars raised an eyebrow as his kick connected to nothing but air and you can see that it was quite powerful and fast as several trees in the direction of his kick was blown to bits.

The python seems to be moving on pure instinct as it manages to dodge the kick just before it connected, it stepped back almost like it surprised itself.

Mars was actually really impressed that it manage to dodge his attack so fluidly, quickly coming back to the battle he rushed at the python again.

*WoOm*!!!

This time the python also rushes at him leaving a cloud of dust in it trail running on all fours, its mind of insanity and true madness baring its sharp teeth.

As they got within reach other they both delivered there respective attacks, Mars swung his Quik covered fist and the python used its long slight thick metallic like tail to counter.

*BOOM*!!!

As both their attacks connected it was as if time itself stopped for a moment, everything froze…then resumed as a massive shockwave appeared causing the wind to become heavy and a small crater to form under them.

At first glance from an outsiders point of view both of them seemed equal in strength, only Mars knew that he was not using his full strength only a mere 40% of his cultivation base.

His 40% was actually pretty close to the 1000kg of strength that an ordinary rebirth stage cultivator can harness at their peak, so one could see his talents are extraordinary.

Though if the python was clear headed it could have felt that something was off but in the state of madness the python went all out without a care, it just wanted some food, the delicious energy of Mars was mouthwatering to say the least.

*Om*!

Mars relaxed his posture, he decided to lower his power to match the pythons, so that he can truly get a complete grasp of his body and obtain absolute control over it, which was harder than one can imagine.

*Boom*!!

*Bam*!!!

. ” ”Agagag!!! ” ”.

Their attacks keep going back and forth looking as if them both have seemingly infinite stamina as none wanted to give up, Mars slammed the large lizard into the ground an uncountable number of times but it just keep on getting back up.

For 10 minutes straight they were in a heated brawl, Mars covered in blood as he had changed out of his armor and put away his sword in another dimension, his hands were blistered, one of his finger were possibly broken.

Through all this Mars stood calmly, this is what he wanted after all, this was the fastest way to master his body, put it through years of used in a single moment.

But, the Python wasn doing any better than him, infact it was in a much more severe state, a piece of its head was missing, blood flowing out, its back left foot broken, its right foot fractured, the pain of the madness just continuing to increase.

Mars looked at the miserable beast and decided to give it a painless death for helping him out, he was grateful, also the fight had started to become a bore as there was no change to the pattern, so he will use his full strength to honor it.

*Om*!!!!

Mars stopped moving planting his feet into the ground, a red aura coating his entire body as that familiar golden glow gleamed in his eyes.

*Clap*!

He clasped his two hands together as if praying then slowly opened them, a blood red ball of pure and raw Four Direction Energy can be seen within it,

No special techniques nothing just raw supreme power, he aimed it at the python, with a gentle push he released it at full force creating a massive red beam like the light of a red sun.

*Fizzzzzz*!!!!

*BOOOM*!!!

With a sound of cutting through the wind and a loud bang it connected with the python dead on making a huge dust cloud destroying the surrounding 50m of the surface dirt, trees and rocks around.

The dust cloud quickly cleared and the pythons body could be seen lying in a massive 20m wide crater, it seems to be still alive albeit barely as it struggled holding on to the last bit of its life-force.

. ”Agag…gaaa…aaa. ”The python moans and groans in pain as blood drip from its entire green now red and sore looking body.

Its pain didn last long through, its painful groans got softer quickly till they cease completely leaving the python dead and vanquished, a descendant of the dragon race perished to a God.

. ”That took longer than I expected, a whole 10 seconds, even though it loss its bloodline anything connected to dragons cannot be underestimated, well lets get my spoils of war. ”Mars though out loud walking to the crater and the now dead madness python.

As Mars got to the crater he shoved his hand right into the exposed brain of the python he made and pulled out a shiny golden object that looks like a small glowing pearl.

It was one of those pills that beast have in there head as cores, quite a sad life if one thought of it, they are made only as cultivation resources.

The pill that Mars got is a Madness Python grade 3 Energy Gathering Pill, if taken would allow for one to increase their cultivation speed by 25% for 2 hours which would work even better for Mars.

Seeing that his cultivation technique already increases his cultivation speed by 10 times, if he were to add 25% more to it then his cultivation speed would be 2.5 times faster than his maximum.

He was eager to try it right now so he sat down in lotus position and shoved the pill in his mouth and swallowed not even trying to chew it, it was like an actual pearl, he didn know if it was that particular one or if all were like that.

As he concentrated he suddenly felt a warm current of energy flowing through his whole body then rushed to his core in the middle of his forehead and leaves some kind of pattern like marks on it.

As soon as the marks were done forming on his core the Quik energy in the surroundings vibrated then began to rush toward him much faster and eagerly than his first time.

After only just 5 minutes of cultivating the Quik energy the four direction energy made in the surrounding 5000 miles were sucked dry and continuously replenished by the energy futher away.

The forest he is in now is called the Millennium Forest only 150,000 miles wide, so he destroyed a huge chunk when he first came, its a good few miles away from the Dragon Kingdom in a secluded part of the Four Power Region which the four, now three great powers rule.

No one would be foolish enough to live close to this forest because of the dangerous beast living here and it being home to the giant race as well.

This forest has four key layers, the outer layer which is the biggest being about 80,000 miles on its own, the strongest in this layer is a Grade 3 Beast which is the equivalent of a Low Energy Gathering Stage cultivator.

Then there is the inner layer being about half the side of the outer layer being mostly inhabited by Grade 4 beasts which is the equivalent of a High, Energy Gathering Stage Cultivator.

And one Grade 5 beast which is the equivalent of a low Tribulation Stage Cultivator, having gone through a tribulation of lightning.

Then there is the center perimeter just surrounding the center of the forest which is called the core.

The center perimeter takes up most of the remaining miles and is the gathering place of Grade 6 Beast and some Grade 5 Beast with no ruler, Grade 6 beast is equivalent of a high, Tribulation Transcendent Stage Cultivator and it would actually take 10 or more Cultivators of this stage to kill one of them.

Surprisingly though, this is the most peaceful part of the forest because no fighting goes on there, it is all respectful and quiet.

Reason being that it is extremely close to the core and the beast as strong as they are, are terrified of whatever lives in there which is only one beast and they are afraid to cause a ruckus and disturb the ”monster ” at the core of the forest, who said the beast were no intelligent.

Then now finally coming to the core the very center of the forest and where the strongest beast lives, the true and absolute ruler of the entire Millennium Forest.

And its not just a mere grade 7 beast that rules the forest otherwise the grade 6 beast wouldn have been that afraid, that would be equivalent to a Forging Divinity Stage, legends have it that the ruler is a Grade 8 beast equivalent to a Soul Ascendant Tribulation stage Cultivator.

A Grade 8 and 9 beast, all exist within the same state, this is a beast stage in their lives called the metamorphosis stage, when they by instinct begin preparing for true ascendance at Grade 10.

A Grade 9 can effortlessly kill a Grade 8, even though they all exist in the same stage, it is a different level of playing field for beast, its now up to who has the highest quality bloodlines, abilities and whatnot.

A true battle of survival, only the strongest survive.
