“Ah-choo!” A corner of the tissue paper over Gu Nian’s nose was blown upward.

Jiang Xiaoqing stuck her head over from the back seat and asked nervously, “Are you okay, Gu Nian? You didn’t catch a cold, did you?”

“I’m fine.
Probably it was just a bit cold last night was all.”

“I brought cold medicines with me.
Let me look!”

“There’s no nee….”

But Jiang Xiaoqing had already sat back into her seat and started rummaging through her stuff.

Gu Nian had no choice but to swallow up her words.
Turning around and looking out the window, the bright green branches from the trees were brushing up against the car window in front of her.

This was the way into the mountains.
The production team of Demons was mainly going to film in a ravine outside of City Z recently.
“Summoned” by the Director Team, Gu Nian and Jiang Xiaoqing had to fly into City Z early Monday morning then take a car ride over to the filming location.

After an exhausting journey, they finally arrived at the filming location by 3 PM that afternoon.

Qin Yuanyuan was the one who came up to them when they arrived.
A native of City Z, Qin Yuanyuan went home a few days early and was also the first of the three to arrive on location today.

Qin Yuanyuan offered to carry their luggage for them.
“Let me show you to our room first.
There aren’t very many rooms here so the filming crew has the three of us staying in the same room.
Right this way.”

The filming crew rented regular houses locally for filming purposes and all of the workers’ temporary “dormitories” were also scattered around this area.

The entire crew were out filming during this hour and there were barely any one around.
Qin Yuanyuan made several turns before they finally arrived at their destination.

“This is it,” said Qin Yuanyuan after they have walked into a courtyard.
Stopping in front of a row of houses that were attached to each other, Qin Yuanyuan pushed open one of the doors and stepped inside.

Gu Nian, walking behind her, refrained herself from yawning.

Jiang Xiaoqing was the last to enter.
She was stunned speechless for a few seconds before she quickly ran inside.
“This is where we are staying?”

“Mmmhmm, as arranged by the filming crew.”

“This, this, this….
Are we here to film or are we here to be reformed?!”

Qin Yuanyuan wasn’t sure what to say to that.

Gu Nian had already looked up the condition in this area prior to their trip and had a better idea of what to expect.
After she had pushed her little suitcase over against the wall, she walked back over and was going to sit down on a stool…

“Wait, wait, wait, wait!”

When Jiang Xiaoqing saw it, she sprinted over, pulled a tissue out of who knew where, and quickly started wiping down the stool.

Only after she was done wiping did she stand back up and say attentively to Gu Nian, “Have a seat, Master Gu Nian!”

Gu Nian paused for a little bit.

Qin Yuanyuan too was stunned by this performance.
After she had recollected herself, she walked over, refrained herself from laughing, and said, “I have only been gone for a day.
What is up with you, Xiaoqing.
Are you possessed or something?”

Jiang Xiaoqing, “Oh, you haven’t heard about this just yet.
I shall inform you officially right now – starting today, Gu Nian is my most beloved woman, NOT!”

Qin Yuanyuan, “Oh?”

Jiang Xiaoqing was talking a mile a minute filling Qin Yuanyuan in on what happened the day before.

“…  You didn’t see that pale look those three mean women when they were taking off nor how heroic our Master Gu Nian looked! The moment that I walked out of the bathroom I had sworn that Gu Nian is now my hero, the Monkey King who had come to my rescue on a rainbow cloud!”

“Okay.
You can stop now.” Her speech was giving Gu Nian a headache.
“It’s not a big deal.
We’ve dodged a bullet there.
Just remember to pay the three actors that I brought with me.”

“But of course!”

“After Xiaoqing’s story, I somewhat regret not being there to see for myself,” said Qin Yuanyuan as she smiled with her lips shut.

Jiang Xiaoqing, “Somewhat regret?! I regretted thoroughly!!”

Gu Nian chuckled lightly and looked at Jiang Xiaoqing with her head cocked.
“What? You still holding out hope for that scum?”

“Then what are you regretting about?”

“What else could I be regretting about? Handsome man, of course!”

Jiang Xiaoqing tossed her purse on top of her bed before she ran back over excitedly and sat in between the other two girls.

“Let me tell you.
When I was hiding in the restroom, I heard a girl outside saying that there was a super, super, super peerlessly handsome man there!”

Gu Nian admired her wholeheartedly.
“You are still thinking about man at a life-and-death moment? Respect.”

“Well, I wouldn’t be worried about a regular man under circumstances like that.
But this one is truly super handsome!”

“Did you see him?”

“No, I left with you, remember? I missed the chance to see him.
That’s why I regretted so much.”
