TMNT: and the Cosmic Being

A pounding migraine is my first realization that we survived. My head hurts so bad that I decide to just keep laying down with my eyes closed. Listening to the commotion around me.

”She is dangerous! She nearly blasted us to the moon! ” shouted an agitated Raphael.

”Dude, what are you talking about? She saved us! ” Pointed out an excited Michelangelo.

”We need to understand her ability better to determine if she is a threat. ” Donatello pointed out very logically.

”I don think she is a threat. After all with her power she could have just saved herself but she chose to stay and help us. She even helped us collect all those crystals, knowing that it would destroy her home. ” Leonardo mentioned thoughtfully.

Then I heard a new voice. One that is old and wise. ”Hmm, I think we need more information to make this decision. ” Says the wise one.

”But we told you all we know sensei, and Ying has been passed out for days. ” Stated a perplexed Leo. At this I flinch a bit as I realize how close I was to death.

”Or is she? ” Asks the wise one. These words made me freeze stiff.

Now I feel all their eyes on me. Busted is my only thought. ”You guys make it hard for a girl to sleep. ” I jokingly state still laying down with my eyes closed.

”Young one, we need to ask you a few questions. ” Asks the sensei. I open my eyes and see a giant rat wearing a kimono holding a wooden cane looking at me. Like the huge, walking, talking, turtles weren weird enough. I think to myself as my eyes go wide.

I sit up on the couch Im laying on desperately wishing I could continue sleeping. ”Allright, what would you like to know? ”

They all exchanged glances, not expecting me to be so forthcoming perhaps?

”We would like to know more about your ability. ” Asked Donny.

”Hmm, well its kinda hard to put it into words but basically I can control and manipulate life energy, and my horns act like a amplifier increasing the power that I can distribute. But if I burn through to much energy through my body I can completely loose consciousness as you saw earlier… or worse. ” I state as I hold my pounding head.

”Does the size of your horns change anything? I noticed that your horns were a lot bigger and look a bit different then the ones on those skeletons. ” Donny asks overly curious.

”Donny! ” shouted Leo.

”Way to be sensitive, bro. ” Commented Mikey.

”S-sorry. ” Stammered an embarrassed Donny.

I chuckle at their antics. ”Its alright Donny, Im an open book, and thats a valid question. In truth the bigger the horns, the more power we can control. That is if your body can handle it. The five of us that volunteered all have unique gifts and so our horns are unique as well, but we weren aloud to talk about our gifts. ”

”So then why are you telling us all this now? ” Asked Leo.

”All those old foogies are dead so these secrets are mine to do with as I wish. Besides you four saved my life multiple times with barely knowing me. The least I can do is give you the truth. ” I state with a kind smile.

”So no more explosive light shows? ” Asked Raph trying to tease me.

I look down at the floor. ”No. Im honestly quite embarrassed that my power got away from me like that. Especially with all the training I went through. But in heavy emotional stress situations it can be quite difficult. I will do better. ” I state the last sentence with burning conviction.

”You can always join our training. ” Offered the sensei, seeing my desire to improve.

At this I light right up. I always did enjoy a good training session. ”Really?! You guys wouldn mind?! ” I asked full of excitement which gets a smile out of Leo.

”A new punching bag is always enjoyable. ” Raph says with a grin as he cracks his knuckles, just to get a punch in the arm from Leo.

”Nock it off, Raph. ” Leo growled out.

This gets the old rats attention as he runs his hand over an extra long beard-like tuff of fur hanging from his chin. Then he chuckles and looks at me saying, ”You seem to have quite the effect on my sons. ” And with that he starts to walk way, but just before he walks through a doorway he says without turning around. ”She can stay. ” and with that he disappeared through the door. This makes all the turtles cheer and that makes me blush. I guess they really do enjoy my company. I thought to my self, feeling accepted for the first time in my life.

Well its painfully obvious that I won be getting anymore sleep. I think to myself as I watch Mikey grab a board with four little wheels under it and start doing tricks around the large open circular centre of the lair.

I look around to get my barrings. Directly in front of me is a wall of different sized TV screens as well as a few more chairs on either side of the couch. In the very centre of the large open area there is an elevated circular platform that Im assuming they use for sparring. Off to the side of the platform is a punching bag in the shape of a person with a couple of Raphs sais sticking into its head. On the other side of the platform there is a large aqueduct leading into a tunnel. On the far side from the tunnel there is a really large opening with a heavy metal garage door blocking it off. Around the upper edge of the circular chamber is a walking platform and four more doors that Im assuming is the turtles bedrooms. On the opposite side of the big room theres another door opposed to the one the rat went into. This door is large and made of thick metal. Its also left open so I could just make out a tech lab inside that Donny disappeared into.

Hmm, no extra rooms. I wonder where Im going to crash. I think to myself as I look at the couch. I hope not! I grumble in my head thinking Im going to be stuck on the couch.

At this point Leo walks up to me and asks ”So I noticed how excited you got when Splinter mentioned training, you up for some? ” He extends his hand in invitation and I grab it immediately.

”Definitely! its been millions of years since I had a good workout. ” I chuckle at my joke but Im the only one.

”You mean you really were stuck in that pod since the dinosaurs? ” Leo asked with clear shock on his face.

”Well not exactly. Im a part of the second generation, actually born on this planet far after the dinosaurs. My parents were part of the first that came here and they were able to prolong their life a fair bit with help from the stasis pods. But it wasn until my kind realized that we weren able to live long enough to finish the project that they started. So, they began to reproduce to create heirs to continue their work. Pretty much all of my people were emotionless logical thinkers so they only focused on what we needed to know to continue their project and refused their children anything else, because of this I don actually know much about my people. ” Upon finishing saying this my voice turned very cold remembering my treatment as a child.

Leo then did something Ive never experienced before… He hugged me, making me freeze on the spot. As warmth filled my insides, my arms slowly wrapped around his shell and my head rested on his chest. My eyes closed as I thoroughly enjoy this new feeling.

Suddenly Mikey comes up and yells ”Group hug! ” I then feel him squeeze me from behind as Im sandwiched between them. I giggle as I enjoy the embrace but suddenly my face goes red as I remember my clothes are in shreds.

With a face as red as a tomato, I try pushing them away and in a shy voice I ask ”Any chance do u guys have anything I could wear? ”

Realization hits Leo and he takes a step back as Mikey is still attached to me from behind.

”Mikey, let her go. ” Leo says in a bit more of a strict tone then he intended.

”Ah, man! But she is so soft and smells so good! ” He says as he buries his face in my hair.

last straw, I thought. ”Mikey let me loose or Ill go all light show on your ass. ” I threatened with a slightly mocking tone. Raph hears this and starts chuckling as hes watching TV.

”Damn, she be feisty! ” Mike says as he let me go.

Leo then gestures for me to follow saying ”Come on, lets find you something to wear. ”

”Thanks Leo ” I shyly say as I followed behind him.
