She nearly had the urge to jump out of her car the moment she passed by a few pharmacies on her way to the dinner.
She held back regardless.

It should be fine, I guess—I mean Huo Yunting, he stopped a few drinks for me before.
I’ve been in the pink of health recently as well.

Yeah Zhaoyang, those pills aren’t good for you.
Medications are still a kind of drug, poison.
Why take them if you could do fine without them?

She arrived by one of the premium entertainment centers in the city at 8 P.M.
Before exiting the car with Xiang Jinxi, she sent a message to Huo Yunting, briefing him the business drinking session with President Xiang and other clients that night.
They hurried their way into the venue as they were a bit late since their last meeting was longer than they expected.

“I would be drinking tonight,” reminded President Xiang.

“Okay.”

Lu Zhaoyang’s digestive system had been under great care ever since Huo Yunting enforced control on her diet.
A bit of alcohol should not do harm to her.

That “bit of alcohol” she imagined faded away like the columns of smoke emitted from the gap the moment they opened the door to the cabin, as there she saw—an old “friend” of hers.

“Yes, sir, please.
Have a drink.
You like my dress tonight? Thank you! It’s from Paris.” That familiar voice pierced the noise.

Why is Mo Shan here? Does she not only drink at one but almost every place?

Lu Zhaoyang could not lift her eyes away from Princess Morebeers ever since.
She sat down and quickly drew a friendly curve with a glass in her hand while apologizing for being late before leading a new conversation with the clients.

Certainly, Mo Shan noticed Zhaoyang, justifiable with her drastic change of action—she was literally leaning against another man, giggling and she sat up straight formally by then.

Zhaoyang had no remark for this girl as she passed a glance and carried on chatting with the clients.

As a few hours passed, the atmosphere grew wild.

“What a drinker you are, Shan.
Go, have a toast with President Xiang!” Ordered the male customer next to Mo Shan.
Mo Shan squinted her eyes and surveyed that thin man sitting at the opposite, feeling familiar and slightly drunk.

Is it him…? The man whom I love and admire for so long yet it turns out to be a big mistake…

I’m coming—wait for me…

She clumsily stood up with a glass as she waltzed towards Xiang Jinxi, “President Xiang, cheers.”

The president took a sip as a return to her favor out of courtesy.

It was not meant for Mo Shan but the man who ordered her there.

Mo Shan smiled more sweetly the moment the president seemingly took her bait.
She grooved her way to a chair and placed it next to the president, then rested her head upon his shoulder.

“President Xiang, you can’t just take a sip.
Bottom it up!”

“No, thank you,” he coldly rejected as his eyes expressed a slight displeasure.
He readjusted his position upon glancing at Zhaoyang who was also moving herself away.

“President Wen is waiting for you over there.
So I would suggest to stop wasting the night on me.”

“President Xiang seems to be not in the mood tonight, not for a simple girl like me at least.
The president prefers a stunning beauty, doesn’t he? Like the one here,” said Mo Shan suggestively as she passed a glance at Lu Zhaoyang, with a strong urge to scratch her face bleeding!

That woman stole everything from me!

“She’s just my special assistant.
Miss, aren’t you meddling a little too much?” Coughed the president upon breathing in the heavy smell of alcohol and cheap cologne on her.

“Shan! What is this?” Shouted President Wen as he observed the serious annoyance on President Xiang’s expression.
The angry call woke the girl up, reminding the actual situation.
She was no longer that Princess Morebucks who got automatically worshipped in a toast like this.
She was the waitress who drank with guests and worshipped them for a living.
Therefore she could no longer act willfully like before.

She shook her head and still could not believe that she actually mistook Xiang Jinxi as Huo Yunting.
She sat back next to President Wen and leaned against him, not forgetting to pass our girl a glare.

Lu Zhaoyang was nonchalant nevertheless as she sipped her tea.

Well, excuuuuuse me, princess.
Was it me who caused your company to go out of business for good? Do you have to act like a female dog and bite everybody you see?
