Yin & Yang Monarch

As I was looking at the words in front of me on the transparent panel, I immediately sat in a lotus position ad got ready to try it out.

Before I did anything, I clicked on the cultivation technique and a description popped up on the panel.

[ Yin and Yang, Polar opposites but it also the same, Just like the Sun and moon, Hot and cold, circulate the yin and yang energy surrounding you at an even pace, once you have started circulating the two energy around you, slowly send the energy into the middle of your stomach while combining the yin and yang energy into a sphere until it can naturally stay their itself. *This technique is exclusive to you, anyone else cannot use this technique as it would prove to be false.]

I went over the description thoroughly until I could finally understand what the technique was, and how to use it.

I looked at the sudden notification in content, I had even more motivation to increase my knowledge and intelligence in the future.

I then set that thought aside and thought of a sudden problem of the cultivation technique and said ”Wait, circulate yin and yang? How would I differentiate those two energies from mana? Isn that also an energy in the world.]

And soon, I heard a familiar mechanical voice resound in my head and said…

[The way to collect those two unique energies, is by feeling their temperature, yin and yang energy is cold and hot, while mana has no temperature at all, only collect the energy that is hot and cold and host will be fine.]

As I listened to what the system said, I absorbed the knowledge quickly until I completely understood.

A similar panel popped up in my head once I got what the system said.

I looked at it briefly with satisfaction and quickly diverted my attention to the cultivation technique.

As I was in the lotus position I closed my eyes and put my two hands together.

I focused strongly around my surroundings, or more accurate, the feelings around me, it took awhile for me to start anywhere, but I wasn going to give up.

After an unknown amount of time, suddenly I felt an overwhelming feeling of heat around my surrounding and I could feel as if I could pull that energy towards me, I figured out this was yang energy, as it was really hot, it felt like I was deep inside of a volcano slowly burning alive.

Sweat built up on my face and I said under my breath ”I quickly need to feel yin energy next for this to subside… ”

And soon enough like I wished for I suddenly felt overwhelming cold energy around me at the same time, it was like I was in the core of an ice blizzard, and I was stuck in solid cold ice that had snow covering it all over.

I quickly circulated the two energies towards my body, and soon, the sweat that I was having went away and I was replaced with a feeling of relief.

The temperature I was feeling now was neither hot nor cold, it was the perfect temperature, something that I had never felt before as I always slept outside in my last life and it was always either too hot, or too cold.

I took in this new feeling and quickly sent it to the middle of my stomach, and I shaped the energy into a sphere.

At first the sphere was really shallow, it was difficult to keep its shape while also not letting the energy ravage through my body.

Truthfully there were plenty of times where I nearly let it rampage but quickly pulled myself together, I guessed it wouldn be good if it rampaged because I had a bad feeling when it almost did.

Eventually the energy naturally started to stay in its shape, but it was really shallow and fragile, any wrong movement could break it and that wouldn be good.

suddenly, a loud noise resounded inside my body.

*Boom!*

I launched my eyes open, and I suddenly felt rejuvenated, I felt stronger, faster, and I felt my stamina go up as well, along with my other stats.

Then suddenly, I felt my stats rise up again, even after that sudden explosion in my body.

I quickly opened my status menu and was shocked.

My stats increased so much, I then suddenly realized something and said ”Not only can I increase my strength my leveling up, but also by cultivating, doesn that means I get at-least double of what I was originally supposed to get.

I then noticed my body and I have gotten some muscles, not some huge amount, but you could see some curves around my body.

But then I suddenly thought ”Wait, all this time and I haven even noticed what I was wearing. ”

I had on a plain white shirt, and loose black sweatpants, but I had no shoes on, not like that had bothered me though, I always walked around with no shoes on and you could say I had grown accustom to the feeling and eventually liked the feeing of dry cold concrete.

I quickly put that aside and suddenly heard the mechanical voice.

I looked at the sudden gift in aspiration and quickly went to my storage and clicked on the gift box.

[Open] [Close]

I quickly pressed [Open] and waited for what I would get.

[ Short Knife Acquired]

[Buff: +5 Strength, +1 Speed]

I looked at the buff with satisfaction and went back to my storage in my status and pressed on the short knife.

[Take] [Close]

I quickly pressed the [Take] optioned and suddenly, a short knife appeared in my hand, its hilt was black while the blade was silver, the grip on the knife was good so I didn have to worry about dropping it.

After swinging the knife around for a while I finally got a bit of a hang of it, and wanted to put the knife away, but then I thought ”Just how do I put it back in my storage ”

I thought for a while until opened up my status and I saw in the storage that the knifes name was still there.

I clicked on it and options came up.

[Put Back] [Close]

I quickly pressed [Put Back] and suddenly, the knife disappeared out of my hands, and was put back in my storage.

I then diverted my attention to my surroundings, I noticed it was dark outside and I needed to sleep.

I tried looking for an area, but I failed to do so, after all it was a forest and I wasn expecting a house to pop up in plain sight or anything.

I then decided to sleep under a huge tree that had leaves around it, surprisingly it was pretty comfortable, way better than sleeping on the hard cold concrete.

I then thought ”Tomorrow morning I need to start moving out of the forest to look for some sort of civilization, I can stay here forever. ”

And before I knew it, I drifted off into sleep…
